Josh Seaver, art and design, and Matthew Ray, chemistry and physics, on Oct. 23 attended the Global Partners European Alliance Research Symposium hosted by Coventry University, Coventry, United Kingdom. Participating universities were: Coventry University, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Dublin Institute of Technology, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Purdue University and UW-Stout.

The purpose of the meeting was to bring together a group of stakeholders from six international institutions to work collaboratively. This event focused on the areas of decent work, economic growth and sustainable communities and cities with the goal of generating and testing new collaborative proposals aligned to the global research challenges in those areas.   UW-Stout will host the next meeting of the Global Partners European Alliance Monday, June 3, through Wednesday, June 5, during the upcoming Polytechnic Summit.
